The whole point of taking proper precautionary measures in protecting your home is staying safe from bad things that might happen to those not careful enough.

A Dog

This step might not sound conventional when it comes to home security, but chatting with your neighbours every now and then doesn’t only help you connect with people. Keep in mind that it is not your close relatives and best friends that will help you when a burglary happens– it’s the neighbours that are likely to be on the spot. If those living next-door to you don’t like you, chances are that they won’t care about your house being robbed – unless they have a particularly strong sense of justice.
Always Lock Up
Although suburbs may sound like a place where you don’t have to lock your doors, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Even if you are home, make sure you always lock your doors.
